Recently, I’ve been thinking about Millennials, and how I slipped into the generation, right when it was beginning. I was still under the impression that University meant a guaranteed job, until I was just about done high school. Thats what happened to the ’82~’86 Millennials. We were totes in the dark.
After all of my research regarding Instagram, which is the most Millennial ever, I see where we can come off as being entitled and narcissistic. I would have to disagree, though. Perhaps the years spent being congratulated just for showing up is what started this instinctive desire to share everything with everyone ever (thx Internet!) When more people see or hear about what you’re doing, someone is bound to be impressed or interested. It’s a bit sad, really.
There is also soooo much psychological hoopla I could get into about being a child in the 80s and early 90s, when everything was booming (hello バブル.) Not enough family time, which likely played a major role in the parentals over-giving and over-encouraging… see where I’m going with this? I’m really not sure I do, either. However, I know if I sat down and really thought it all out, I would probably have the most 図星 moment ever. That’s not for today, though.

Some very interesting news has just been brought to my attention, via Twitter. I am not going into detail, because, yeah right! I will say this: I made a damn fool of myself a few months ago, but I’m going to swallow my pride, and try again. Let’s be real, I make a fool of myself on the regular. My damn glasses are (extremely) superglued together. Again.
