Oh, hello, I didn’t see you there. Welcome to my home. I’m Nick. I moved from Toronto to Tokyo on March 7th, 2013, and I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty amazing. I love it here, even if it can be rather challenging at times. To say the least. What’s life without a little challenge though? I completed my master’s degree at 文化学園大学 in March 2017. Now, I’m not being shady when I say this, but I am the most ready to start working, again.
After studying fashion design at Ryerson University, in Toronto, I stumbled into the world of social media, right when it became an essential for a business to have an online presence. I have always been a firm believer that menswear is far more interesting than womenswear and that every colour secretly wishes it was black. I am really interested to see the direction Japanese pop-culture and fashion take, since FRUiTS magazine has officially ended publication. It’s the end of an era, but I get to say I was here to see the next era begin.
I’m really just your average retired party-boy… who comes out of retirement once in awhile, reminding me just why I retired.
Often I find myself daydreaming that my life is a Gregg Araki movie, no matter how unrealistic it may be. It’s safe to say, my obsession with popular culture and counterculture began at a very young age.
I walk into the world purse first. I don’t know why you all gagging.
