I’m going to say it, even at the risk of my sounding cheesy: when it rains, it pours. I say that, I mean it both figuratively, and literally. Tokyo has been bombarded with typhoons, really it was just two, but it basically rained for a week, and then even more the following weekend. My street looked like a damn river. I was about to start building a big boat and collecting some animals. Said boat would have lacked any floatation ability and would be at the bottom of my river-street. So that is the literal, but the figurative meaning I was making reference to is that after near silence, I’m working freelance and have meetings scheduled during the week. Now, I’m not complaining, no ma’am. Quite the opposite, really. I’m pumped! It feels like my life isn’t falling apart from around me, which it very well could be, if things won’t take the any of the paths I’ve crafted as my safety net. And one, that I thought of as my fail-safe-last-resort-go-to? Yeah, that was a met with a resounding NO. Yes, I’m worried. But, worrying will not solve my problems. So I guess I’m gon have to step my pu$$y up.
Speaking of stepping it up, Apple released their iPhone X, and it is, obviously, gorgeous. And very, very sold out everywhere. I sure don’t have that kinda scratch, right now, but they released a new iOS with a batch of emoji. I am finally represented in the persons section. They have a vampire! C’mon Dracula, let’s get exsanguinated!
Now, I have some work to get back to, on this wild Friday night. I have deadlines.
